Overall I am very impressed with it. Very good sound after removing the resonator for straight pipe from the Y to the muffler.

Exactly what I expected

This is an inexpensive "universal fit" muffler, which means it really doesn't fit anything exactly. The muffler that was a direct fit for my car was about twice the price. This muffler was reasonably quiet and seems to be well constructed.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: will this fit on my 1996 pontiac sunfire ?

A: Yes and no. Yes it will fit the piping diameter, but it is too loose to fit the muffler strap that holds it in place and requires some jigging about to fit. Also their is no tail pipe.
