The precision engineering ensures a perfect fit and superior flow for OE performance without sacrificing noise reduction. Spun-locked heads, internal partitions, spot welds and louvered tube technology work together to minimize noise while maximizing part life. The internal drainage system and mechanical joints between tubes and partitions allow for expansion and contraction to avoid loose parts and additional noise over the muffler's long service life.

It was very expensive and not happy with their go ahead of a part that was one unit once and now in 2 parts making the price $100. more, but the car is a lot quiter.

Q: Is this just the muffler or are the pipes shown in photo included as well as clamps?

This would be a replacement to the OE fit muffler and would include the exhaust pipe extension pieces necessary so it can be joined to the existing exhaust pipes under your vehicle. If you can provide me with you vehicle details (Year, Make, Model & Engine Size) I can specify the Sku/Part # you will need. Alternatively, you can use the online vehicle selector tool which will determine this for you.

A: The rear muffler is Canadian Tire part # 1121966; manufacturer part # 54491.You will also require the gasket (Rear resonator/pipe to muffler) Canadian Tire product # 0173231l manufacturer part # 31307. Please see diagram below.
