I previously owned the springless oval and it rusted and lost all the plastic coating over the fibreglass rods. That said we got many years of use from the springless oval. Putting this together was about the same as the springless oval, definitely not for sissies and whiners. If you are weak and not mechanically inclined call a friend because you don’t have a chance. You definitely have to wear your big boy or girl underpants and swear a little! Over all I am very happy with the strength and quality of this trampoline.

Nice trampoline, difficult to assemble

We did a bit of research on which trampoline to get and we ultimately decided on this one. For the price, safety, and weight capacity; all seemed to be the best. We did have a hard time setting it up. Took us a while to figure it out, but my advice would be that when setting up the leaf springs, do it so you attach the opposite end on each side, then do middles. always attach the middle one of each section. It came to a part when I had every second one up and then we just did the opposite side and it worked wonderfully.

Awesome once setup

Like other reviews, it was very hard to put together, but it was worth the effort. I have had for a year and it held up well over the winter (just took down the side mesh wall). Kids go out almost daily.

Great solid trampoline

We bought this trampoline mid summer last year. Sure it took a few hours the first time to assemble, but the vuly online videos really helped. Took it apart for the winter and put it back together by myself in an hour this year. My kid love it, the images on the mat is great, they make stories with them. I'm a big guy, and vuly is the only trampoline manufacturers that make a trampoline rates for my weight, so now I jump with my kids. Great times!

Q: Does the vuly thunder x cite trampoline come with a safety skirt? I don't see it mentioned in the description but in one of the last few pictures it shows this model with a safety skirt. Is it included or is it extra? Thanks!

A: The x-cite does not come with a safety skirt. It is available as an accessory. Since the leaf springs are located under the jumper, there is no danger of contact during use. It is available as an accessory to keep leaves and debris away from under the trampoline.

Q: I only have 13ft of space, if the Vuly Thunder X-Cite has an entire dimension of 12ft, would a child bouncing off the side netting go beyond the 12ft?
