This is our 4th or 5th purchase of this item. Threre was nothing wrong with the prior models other than 1 didn't fare well after I stepped on it. We purchased addtional ones so we didn't have to carry them from house to garage & back again. They work well & don't wear out.

A: Note: It helps save the broom bristles from splaying out to store the broom with the dustpan attached & 'flush' with the bottom edge of the bristles.
