Paint on handle cracks and peels

Do not recommend. It’s already in the garbage. The paint on the handle started cracking and peeling quickly, despite hand washing only. It was never placed in the dishwasher. This item would be just fine if it were unpainted.

I got this item for free and it's a beautiful addition to my utensils. Versatile and I use for either cooking or baking. Easy to clean and gorgeously made. You really can't go wrong with this item!

Super smooth and easy to clean

The workhorse of the kitchen is a solid wooden spoon that isn't a pain to clean. This is coated and doesn't need seasoning so it's good to go straight out of the package. As a result, thick sauces, starchy foods, creamy soups and other messes of the like slide right off. It arrived just in time for soup season and I have been using it regularly, and with much preference over my old wooden spoons. The handle has a stylish grip that matches my grey kitchen perfectly too.

Wooden Spoon

This is a really nice looking spoon and had such a smooth finish until it was washed. It seems that whatever coating is on the spoon to finish it comes off in only some areas. Still very functional as a wooden spoon, but don't be surprised ifvyours also suddenly discolours after the first wash
