A: It can be used into the soup pot, but please do not let the soup immerse over the joint. The blade is recessed and won’t scratch the pot. But there may be scratch if the wand bottom will touch the soup pot.

Q: Does this blender create any bubbles when blending? I want to blend soap batter with it, and it can’t make any bubbles

A: It may be thought that the bubbles appear not only because of the machine, but also bacause of the food itself. For this blending machine, generally, it won't cause any bubbles when used in low speed. If blending in quite high speed, especially for food with water, there may be air flow and cause bubbles.

Q: How deep can you submerge the Vida by PADERNO Immersion Hand Blender into hot liquid (like soups, etc)? Can the base be submerged as well, or only the blending attachment?

A: The motor unit cannot be submerged in any liquid. The blending attachment can be submerged but it is suggested that the submerging position should be under the connector position where the attachment and motor unit are assembled. It is not suggested to use the blender in the hot liquid, because there is risk that the hot liquid will splash and cause harm. It is better to follow the manual when in use.
