Covers well. Takes days to dry. I painted a new wheel rim and it is my spare room to cure and when I come in I can just smell it one and a half weeks later.

Q: will this work on the engine cover plastic, if not what should i use?

A: The VHT high temp paint is made for metal. You should stick with a high temp paint made specifically for plastic.

Q: I want to have a glossy finish after using the copper colour to paint some metal shelves. What coating/enamel could I use that won’t interfere with the copper look?

A: Any of the metallic colors will have a gloss finish when used by themselves. If you are looking to put a gloss clear over the copper we would not have anything to recommend because once a clear is applied over any of the metallic finishes it has an effect on the way light reflects off of the metallic and causes the color to dull and lose the metallic appearance.
