J'étais sceptique quand j'ai acheté cet outil, je dois l'avouer... Mais je l'ai essayé pour enlever les "tie rod end" sur mon Hyundai Santa Fe 2001 et je n'ai eu aucun problème à les enlever. Il faut le rentrer avec un marteau pour le pousser jusqu'au fond, afin d'aligner le boulon avec le bout de la "tie rod". Ensuite, juste à prendre une clé ou "ratchet" et tourner le boulon jusqu'à ce que la "tie rod" debarque. Très performant.

Life Saver

Changing outer tie rod ends are a relatively easy job but when your old tie rod ends are seized to the steering knuckle it turns a 15 min job into a 3 hour job. I had absolutely no success getting it out even when torching and drilling the bolt. This tool helped me get it out in 5 min. If you're changing your outer tie rod ends yourself, get this tool its worth it especially for only $15

Horrible crafstmanship and forget the "Universal" title because it is not. Notice that it is simply a bolt through a badly-shaped chunk of metal. Because it is just a bolt, it will bend out of shape the tie rod bolt when it makes contact. This is my third Powerbuilt tool and I am yet to have a good experience with ANY of their products. Extremely poor quality, lacking documentation and never a good fit!
