The water doesn’t drain when the plug is open and the hair catcher doesn’t catch any hair. Just a lump of rubber.

I was very surprised to find that this product worked as well as it does. Fits all sizes of drains and we have decided to place it in all our basins as well as our bath tub. We will definitely buy again if needed.
