Does what it's meant to do

Good light and sensitive rod. Works great for panfish with light gear as well as for other big game fish, gotta remember it's an ugly stick so it can handle a pike fight or two without breaking ;) Has a good backbone beyond the clear tip and it's not expensive for a rod and reel. The reel could be better, but it's not the worst of the shakespeare selection.
