Great design and finctional garbage can

We bought this garbage can as our dog kept getting into the one underneath the sink, and we were tired of using baby locks on the cupboard. I was impressed with the design and feel of the garbage can. It is very sturdy and solid. I love that you can take out the inserts and make sure you get a good seal with the garbage bag and they made a special little hole at the back that you can pull some of the garbage bag through to make it taut. The stainless steel is super easy to keep clean, I wipe it down with a moistened paper towel as needed. I really like the orientation of how the lid opens,as it makes it easy when you're trying to scrape something off a plate or baking pan into the garbage. In the two weeks that we've owned it, it has held up very well to the repeated stepping on the syep to open it.

Love the thin sleek look. Step on peddle hands free is very convenient. Holds a lot more than our round little can. I only need to empty it once a week now...... even at Christmas !

Good bin, fits perfectly in the spot and looks elegant.
Foot pedal appears solid and hopefully stands test of time as opening the bin without could prove difficult due to flush lid design

Q: What are the actual dimensions of this product? The specifications must be wrong since the larger model (45 liter) has the same dimension numbers.

A: Mine is 64 cm (25 1/4 inches) high, 36 cm (14 1/8 inches) wide, and 24 cm (9 1/8 inches) deep. I think they have the wrong dimensions on the website.

Q: How's the seal of the lid? Does it keeps smells inside the bin?

A: The lid rests on a rim of polymer. It does not have a seal that is designed to keep odor from escaping the bid. It is not hermetically sealed. Short of an airtight seal, there is not way to keep smells from escaping the bin. It should be emptied on a regular basis to limit odors.

A: There is a slot in the back of the plastic inner liner. You push the excess bag through the slot to secure the bag.
