The side opening mechanism is insufficient for the side door lid. So it’s wobbly and hard to open at first. Would be better to have had an opening from the side, might have been more stable.

A: I tried to get parts even though mine was supposed to be within warranty. There is "NO PARTS" for this product. I tried.

Q: How do you get the slow open and the stay open lid options to work?

A: The step controls the slow open and close. If you want the lid to stay open and no slow close, you have to go over 90 angle. This way it does not activate the slow closing option.
