While it seems to hold the advertised weight, the wires that make up the shelves are bowing. I would feel more confident with it's construction if the wiring was strudier but would is be fine for those looking to store minimal or lightweight items on it.
One shelf was delivered with minor damage.

A: Other types of stores carry same style of shelves but different measurements longer and deeper in 5 tier so different weight restrictions. So depending on the store will depend on what is available.

A: in the unit I just purchased all shelves are moveable and they are all the same size. I assume the others that had split and square shelves purchased a different unit. you should check the box before buying the unit

Q: I'm wanting this shelf because it is 18" deep but the area I want to put it is not 72" tall. I only have room of 60". Can I cut down the 4 bars and still have the use of 5 shelves? What will the impact be, other than perhaps unfinished tops of the bars

A: The shelves are adjustable, the total height will not impact its installation. When you cut down the pole, please cut the top part of top post because there is thread inside the bottom part of top posts for connection.
