I bought this product about two years ago. At first, I bought a single puck lock, but I I somehow lost it, during a short trip. At the time, I simply assume I must have not locked it properly, or left it on the tailgate. It's seemed possible. So then I bought a 3 pack just in case of any future errors. But I was careful after that to make sure I didn't forget or neglect putting the lock back on. In the last 2 years I lost all 3 of them.. Lock number two was on the truck and vanished after a drive from point A to point B. That time I was pretty sure I had locked it properly , but still had a tiny bit of doubt about whether the barrel didn't engage somehow when I used the key. .it was hard to believe a big lock like that would be so poor. After the last last two vanished in much the same way I was absolutely certain it was because the product was garbage. I take the security of the vehicle pretty seriously and locking it up is not merely optional. To have the lock mysteriously dropping off the vehicle mid journey speaks volumes about how terrible the design really is . I would never buy this product again for any price. Also, I came to learn also that they offer very little security against anyone who is an experienced thief. They can be very easily defeated in no time.. the locks are only for show more or less. Consider yourself warned.
