Really safe! But rubbish to play with

The old design had a sharper nose, that made it fast, have long range and able to fly out of the water - it was fantastic! But could potentially cause an eye injury.
Seems like 'health and safety' concerns made the design team put a bluff nose on the front that reduces the ability to injure, but also kills speed, range and fun.
Now it's boring and we don't play with it.
I'm so annoyed we lost our old one, as I don't think you'll ever be able to save this product and make it good AND safe.

Let us know when you remake the one we bought 25 years ago that lasted 18 years. This is NOT it! It can't be that hard. Rubber in the mold! Try again!

Don't get me wrong. We love the toypedo and had a 10 year old model enjoyed for many yeasrs with dyed rubber. shape is improved but the cheapo paint job don't cut it. if you need to save money then make a grey one called a Sharkpedo. A great invention will still sell but I don't appreciate all the paint flakes in my pool. The pic is after one week admittedly hard use, but ain't that what it's for? Please do better on v 26. thanks

A bit of a disappointment

The 25th Anniversary edition Toypedo is cute and colorful, but not as hydrodynamic as the original version. If you never tried the original, you would probably be perfectly happy with the new. Still fun for us, but somewhat disappointing.

A Classic and Timeless Toy !

My grandson has a black Toypedo and brought it with him on vacation to play with in the resort pools. Other kids wanted to check it out, so it was good for making new friends.Since the black is kind of hard to see in the water, I ordered a new orange one! More torpedoes ... more fun!
