Bought this as I needed a trough for a job I was doing close to the store. I was there buying mud anyways and picked this one up. When I put some mud in it, then added water to mix…I ended up pouring water all the floor as this is NOT water tight. All four corners just dumped the water out and the homeowner just glared at me as I cleaned up my mess. Returned the next day and brought my plastic one from home.

No, I do not recommend this product.

No more plastic in the mud

a year ago

I had read the other reviews regarding the pan leaking when you try to mix the mud in it, because the sides are only spot welded. I decided I could fix that with a small bead of silicone. And wouldn’t you know it, it works like a charm. Just put the silicone on the outside, not the inside.

A: No! It is not sealed, water leaks out quickly. Mud weeps out the seams and corners and makes a big mess. Do not buy unless you plan to use exclusively thick, pre mixed mud
