great idea, but...

The concept is great, but I think they could use some redesign in order to work for everyone. First, the elastic of the lower strap wasn't quite long enough for my calves. More importantly, the knee pad itself seems to be a bit old fashioned compared to what TommyCo makes in other versions: I found there to be a definite lump directly on the patella, where most good pads have a bit of an indentation. It pushed on my knee cap and rocked it back & forth painfully when kneeling. These could likely benefit from the stabilizing blocks of the other TC models. Third; if anything, the special straps are overbuilt: padded more than it seems they need to be as they're not really pressure points. This makes them extremely insulating on your thighs & calves (though airy on your knees compared to others.) In the end, I'm returning them because of the instability over the kneecap.

Fantastic Product

These pads are excellent! They do not bind up in the back of your knee. Very comfortable for long periods of use. I have used them to grout a tile floor spending 2hr on my knees. I have used many different knee pads in the past, only to have them rub the back of my knee raw and slip out of position. These pads don't rub the back of your knee and hold their position very well ( there is always a little repositioning to be done with knee pads) Give them a try.
