Affordable quality in a small package

I was looking for a fold-up treadmill that I could fit in the basement so I could train for my first 5km. I wanted something that had enough features to keep me interested, something that felt sturdy underfoot and a treadmill that wasn't so compact that I felt squished. This one was perfect. I trained for my first 5km with this baby and it has now gotten me through tough training runs when I had to stay indoors for a multitude of races including my first ultra marathon.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Best Treadmill I've owned!

Was easy to set up! There are so many choices and settings, a different workout every day to suit your mood! Definitely worth the price. I'd give this treadmill a 10/10 easily.

Yes, I recommend this product.

I bought the Tempo 610T model few years ago and I only used it twice a week and now the front roller is broken. I won't spend my money on this model again.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Not sure what to think yet......

First impression after opening the box and starting assembly of the product was overwhelming to say the least. None of the bolts lined up to the pre-drilled holes. At assembly step 1, the frame extension tube didn't even sit square onto the console mast support tube. What a start? The bolts in hardware bag #1 are now cross threaded from trying to line them up. Step 3, by that time my husband and I were sweating buckets. Who needs a treadmill? No, seriously, the holes didn't align at all. And the console cable cover, well there isn't one.... I was relieved that it actually started when it was plugged in. The french console overlay was folded in half. Thank god I won't need it. We are very good at working together as a rule to assemble things and we have done many, but this took the cake. Thanks for the great workout. I'll have to rest before I use it. This review was written after assembly. Haven't used it yet.......

Yes, I recommend this product.

Just about 4 hours ago purchased this treadmill, got very happy when finally my husband assembled it(nothing was easy even for my very hands on husband). It took us only one hour to see that this product is the worst we ever had.Once incline went up it screwed up everything, the program would not re-start no matter what we did. Anyways,my husband just took it back,I am hopping the store will take it back, because I don't want it not even for $1. DO NOT BUY IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am positive person but this treadmill really got to me.If I could give 0 rating I would absolutely do it.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: How flat does this fold? Does this unit fold flat enough to fit under a bed? What are the approximate dimensions when it is folded?

4 Answers
  • A: It is not the kind of treadmill that folds flat so that you can slide under a bed: the deck folds up on an incline (see linked image) so you can store the unit out of the way. When the deck is lowered, the unit is 67" long; by comparison, when it is folded, the length is 31"

  • A: Si vous dépasser de beaucoup le poids recommandé, il faut juste être conscient que c'est le mécanisme de levage qui risque d'en souffrir. Il faut juste à ce moment débarquer du tapis pour changer l'inclinaison.

Q: What is the deck height for this treadmill? We have a low basement ceiling and need to find a treadmill that is less than six inches off the floor. Could anyone tell me how high the top the deck on this model is from the floor?

2 Answers
  • A: The average step on height for our treadmills is only 4 inches, so the 611T should be just fine for your basement. The deck thickness is 15 mm.

Q: Is this machine fairly quiet or do you have to turn up tv or music while on it

2 Answers
  • A: It's not "quiet". But if you turn the tv up a little louder then normal you will be fine. I just used headphones with my iPod and you can't hear the machine at all.

Q: Has anyone found it too short? I was reading a consumer report site and it recommended treadmills be no shorter than 49 inches. This one is only 45; has anyone found it too short? Thanks!

  • A: I'm 5'11'' , 220lbs and have plenty of room when running. I don't find it short at all.

Q: can one person set up this machine

2 Answers
  • A: No, don't even try, the instructions are not clear and will cause you extreme frustration, this is coming from someone who isn't instruction illiterate either. I am normally good at putting things together, but this is just ridiculous when assembling.
