If I had been able to try it before I purchased it, I wouldn’t have. The step mechanism isn’t strong enough to lift the lid easily.

  • A: I tried to get parts even though mine was supposed to be within warranty. There is "NO PARTS" for this product. I tried.

Q: How do you get the slow open and the stay open lid options to work?

  • A: The step controls the slow open and close. If you want the lid to stay open and no slow close, you have to go over 90 angle. This way it does not activate the slow closing option.
