Product Details

The SYLVANIA Load Equalizer can be used to eliminate hyper flashing and CANbus error codes or bulb out warnings. This most often occurs with turn signal applications in some vehicles, causing the bulb to blink much faster than normal or display a message on the dashboard after replacing an incandescent with an LED bulb. Easily installed in parallel with each LED bulb, it will ensure normal lighting operations so you can enjoy your LED upgrade.

Q: Will this help a car that uses the low beam as a low voltage daytime running light

A: No Low Voltage Daytime Running Lights are a low beam bulb ran at a reduced voltage Some LED’s may work for a while but most cannot work at a reduced voltage This will not help if you vehicle if it has low voltage daytime running lights I have tried this The load equalizer will help the other issues but not for Low Voltage Daytime Running Lights that use the Low Beam bulbs Save your frustration and specifically look for LED that can be used with a low voltage daytime running light system

Absolute garbage pieces. I’m quite good with electrical work and all four clamps immediately broke upon touching pliers to them. Literal waste of money.

Fixes fast-flash / CANBUS errors for LED signals

Very easy to install with ZERO cutting required, fixed my fast-flashing issue on my instrument cluster after installing factory LED rear lights and turn indicators.

Poorly executed

These work okay. The splices that come with the kit are cheap garbage. They are not strong enough to cut through the wire insulation to make an electrical connection, and then fall apart when you reopen them to check. I had to make score marks on the insulation before closing the splices to make it work. Also the zip ties for mounting are totally useless. These will damage parts due to the heat they make, and short of drilling holes through metal, there is no way of safely securing them.
