We went to the Canadian tire in Rothesay, NB for our 7 year old to try, but they had little to no selection of bikes for her. I looked online while there and saw Sussex, NB had this one, we were going to go on the weekend, but she looked so sad, so we decided to just drive there, it was past her bedtime. We got there and they only had the 2 that were not assembled, but all good, we said we will take it unassembled. All staff there that we dealt with were awesome. I will definitely go back to this particular Canadian tire than the other one.

The one I ordered online didn't come assembled - it wasn't easy and when I was done the second gear skipped. I guess if you order one - as them to assemble it if that's an option.

Great bike, easy to adjust for our kid. New brakes are touchy but the balance is good. It is heavier but for the first bike with gears, it’s great.

A: My daughter's bike is the same way. Even for he, her dad, it's extremely hard to switch gears. I think a recall or something should be done about it.

A: Purchased bike and Supercycle training wheels. They are not compatible. The side with the gears, can not accommodate a training wheel. I researched and finally decided on this bike, asked the store clerk and was assure they will work together. So disappointed. I would return it in a minute if we weren’t in a pandemic.

A: Children's bikes are sized by the tire diameter, ie 12, 14, 16 18, 20 inch not by frame size as in youth and adult bikes

A: Loosen the bolt on the collar of the seat tube. Take care to ensure that the seat post is not extended beyond the “minimum insertion line”.

A: 120cm would likely be the upper end of the comfortable limit for an 18" bike. The next size up is 20", so try an option in both wheel sizes to find the one that is most comfortable for your daughter.
