Buy another kind or take the time to check that all contents are there.

Low rating because the roof screws, washers where missing also wrong size door handle screws. Brought it out to camp and put it together there. Made do with what we had cause it wasn't coming back. So disappointed with this shed.

I just put this shed together and it turned out awesome. The instructions are accurate and easy to read. I do suggest to follow them exactly. There is a section at the beginning for pre assembly instructions which I would suggest doing ahead of time. It took 2 of us 7 hours from start to finish. Make sure your base is level or else you will have a hard time snapping the floor in and putting the roof on. We didn’t have to do any modifications, just followed the instructions and it all worked out. Also pay extra attention to the skylights, they were a bit difficult to screw in. Hoping it will do well in the winter. It seems sturdy.

Poor quality (side panels separated)+ poor install

I bought an earlier version of Suncast 7x7’ shed a few years ago. Installation was handled through Canadian Tire. Against my good judgement they used regular wood for the floor base (asked for pressure treated). Now part of the floor collapsed from the rot. Also one of the corners of the shed the front and side panels separated from the top all the way down to the bottoms. Poor quality by Suncast. Very disappointing!
No, I do not recommend this product.

Nice Size Shed

This is a nice size shed for yards with no garage storage. We placed it on a treated wood base/platform. Setup took about 4 hours with four people not including the time it took to build the base. The instructions are very clear with pictures and well labeled parts. We did have some trouble setting up the roof and kind of did our own thing to get it to go on properly so we didn’t follow the instructions for that part of the set up. The walls are thinner than the last prefab shed we purchased so I’m curious to see how well it will hold up in Saskatchewan weather. I’m not a fan of the clear windows on the doors since people can see in the shed and see what’s stored in there so I’ll be frosting them out for privacy and security. The top latch on the second door is poorly designed and does not stay in place so it doesn’t feel as secure as it should and I’m going to have to come up with a fix for that as well. Overall the shed has its positives but the safety issues are a concern for me.

I am happy with this purchase. Be prepared to spend some time putting this together. I think I could have built one out of wood quicker, but I don’t think the cost would be comparable. The shed looks good and seems very sturdy and durable. I am happy that it won’t require any future maintenance. I built a plywood platform as the base/floor. This will be perfect for my needs.

A: No. I installed 16 2'x2' pavers and built the shed on those. As long as its level, thats all that matters. A wood base is not required.
