To fill pool with water inflate the top ring, install the filter pump system and fill with water
Easy to drain water by simply removing the cap from the drain valve on the outside of the pool wall and placing the other end of the hose in an area where the water can be safely drained - away from the house or nearby structures
Store pool by cleaning it thoroughly, draining the pump, filter housing, hoses and keeping it indoors and safe in a dry area - preferably between 0 - 40° C (32 - 104° F)

To all who read these first just know what your buying. I buy a new one of these pools every year when CT has them on sale (18’). I’ve probably owned about 5 by now. By the end of the season I have gone through all of the patch kit and spend hours hunting down the leaks. For the price it’s great in the back yard but just be aware you are in for some work with it! Be extremely careful with the ring and make sure the base is on a sand bottom as any lump of dirt will wear through the bottom in no time. Put the cover on diligently as leaves and bugs clog the filter with no trap (worth the money for an aftermarket filter with build in trap). All in all I keep coming back because of the sale price but don’t think I would ever buy one at full price! Hope this helps anyone wondering about the durability or effort needed to maintain.

second time we have bought this type of pool

This is the second of these type of pools we have bought & we have totally enjoyed them This one was the 18' X 48 " , the first one was only 15' in diameter and lasted us 8 years ! ... both bought at Canadian Tire. We don't like that they changed the ladder and took the seat off... no seat on ladder makes it more awkward for my disabled son to get in & out & makes the ladder feel wobbly. The pump/ filter no longer has a leaf skimmer like our previous model so we find we go through filters faster... ( seems like they are cheaping out ? ) .... also after we get it filled up with water we have to keep adding air to the top ring for a few days , ... the ring itself seems thinner than the previous one, so we will see how it holds up ( this is year two for it ) . We have found it to be more finicky too... if not PERFECTLY level, it will dump out easily... not great with rambunctious kids, BUT we still love having an affordable option in the back yard for cooling off, & we have a lot of fun with it, despite the extra efforts required.

Q: can this pool place in the basement? can this pool use heater to warm the water?

A: Basement: bad idea. And while you are not supposed to use a heater, we did, and it was fine. We used a gas heater, professionally installed. Any heater has the risk of fire, melting the pool, carbon monoxide poisoning, and electric shock, any of which can kill you and your family. I'm sure there are other risks as well.
