really handy to have! changed my front struts and this tool is all you need if you'r a "do it your self" guy would recommend this tool and really easy to use as well.

Q: What is the maximum spring diameter and maximum wire diameter?

A: The product is made to work on springs with a maximum thickness (diameter) of 5/8” and not to be used on springs that are larger than 6” in overall diameter.

Q: Are they heavy duty enough to use safely on performance springs.

A: TI all depends on the diameter of the spring itself. If the spring diameter will nest correctly in the compressor, then yes, it should work.
