Simply Gorgeous!
We purchased over 40 tiles to do our kitchen renovation and hung all the tile ourself. Follow the wall prep instruction on the package. The tiles are easy to work with if you know a few tricks. They are very sticky and you have to lay them down just perfectly because they will not peel back off with out pulling your drywall off. To give us some working time to line up the tile we added some dish soap and water to a spay bottle, sprayed a fine mist on the back of the tile which allowed us time to position the tile before total adhesion. When the tile required cutting we used a Dremel tool. If you decide to grout your tiles make sure to use a sandless grout so it won't scratch the tiles. It is very important to wipe the grout from the tiles right away, do not let grout sit on tile surface for more then 10 mins. If the grout sits on the shinny tiles for to long it will oxidize the tile finish, if this happens you will need to clean the tiles with "Mothers" (aluminum rim cleaner) it does the best job renewing the finish. The tiles are easy to care for everyday with just a glass cleaner, to get a nice shine a little aluminum rim polish works great every now and then.

A: No, when exposed to high heat the adhesive will loosen and the product may slip off of the wall.

A: Yes, this product can be installed over old tiles. However, it is very important that the surface is clean, flat, smooth, dry and free of dust, wax, soap scum and grease.

Q: Drill 1.5 Inch Hole in tile? My faucet is wall mounted above sink where I want to install these tiles. Can I drill 1.5 inch holes for the water pipes to go through? What type of drill would work best on these aluminum tiles?

A: Yes you can. I would suggest the same type of hole saw they use to drill a hole in a steel door for a lockset. I believe they do come in 1.5" size.
