Bayers Lake location poorly stocked

I purchased this online and had someone else pick up the order. What I got couldn’t be farther off; a six-foot steel flat which I have to make a special trip just to return because it may be months before the Bayers Lake store gets these back in stock, if they ever do. When they’re out of what I need it’s often for an indefinite period. Looks like I’ll have to go to Kent for one of these.

A: Taking a wild swing probably regular 1040 mild steel, bought this because I just needed a rod. If you have specific requirements like this I’d recommend you get it from somewhere like metals R us, Metal supermarket, or even McMaster carr if you like spending money on shipping. They will be able to give you a specific composition of steel that will suit what you need better.
