Plastic next to your head frayed

Blocks sound well but in less than a year the plastic liner that holds the foam around your year is all tattered and frayed. This device should have lasted for years.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    Great protection

I bought these on sale for my young son to wear to Monster Jam. They tighten quite small, provided great protection and at a fraction of the cost of muffs advertised for children .

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Worth a buy

I am pleased with the level of noise reduction they provide. They are comfortable and fold up easily. So far they are holding up better than other folding earmuffs. Don't pass them up when they go on sale and if you need a pair then they are worth spending a little extra money even without a sale.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: Hi folks, I have sensitive ears. I would like to wear this while watching in a Cinema/Theatre. Does this ear muff provide softness sound in my ear? Or is it too low?

    1 Answer
    • A: These ear muffs have a Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) of 27 decibels. This is a little lower than typical foam ear plugs (NRR 32 decibels). These ear muffs weren’t necessarily designed to be used in movie theatres and every movie and theatre has different sound levels, so we can’t give you an precise answer. You will most likely still be able to hear but you might have trouble hearing during parts with softer sounds and dialogue.

Q: What is the noise reduction rating of Stanley Foldoing Earmuff #55-0152-8? Similar earmuff for MP3 has NRR of 25, suitable for "moderate noise" environments. I need something for chainsaw level noise.

    • A: OK--found it on http://stanleypersonalprotection.com/Premium%20Foldable%20Earmuff "•Noise Reduction Rating [NRR] 27". It would be good to include such important information instead of some of the sales hype?

    Translate with Google
    1 Answer
