    10 years Professional use

Bought this gun 10 years ago as an automotive tech and still using it to this day. Used it as a hammer and never lubricated it until it started seizing 4years ago. Threw it in a bucket of oil and cleaned it and it kept on going. Used and abused. Moderate power makes it an excellent workhorse! Wish it was still available.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    So much torque

I recently had to remove the axle nuts from my Mazda 5. My Mastercraft 1/2" drive impact gun was completely incapable of removing the nuts. I borrowed the FatMax from a friend and it took the axle nuts off in less than 10 seconds each. It didn't even hesitate. I will be buying this product as I am sure it can remove any fastener from a passenger vehicle. It saved my project.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

I got this impact wrench as part of a combo set which also includes a Fat Max ratchet. I had previously bought a cheap impact wrench at princess auto but it would empty my motomaster 5 gallon compressor within 10 seconds! This one does not,......

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: What setting should I use for changing tires on a hyundai elantra and a honda civic I bought this impact when it was on sale to change between my all seasons and winter tires. I do not want to over tighten the nuts but want them to be tight enough. I do have a torque wrench as well. So what setting should I use? 1, 2, or 3?

Q: Can it be used with Mastercraft 8G Compressor 58-7914-8? I have the Mastercraft 8G Compressor 58-7914-8. Can I use that to power this wrench? It says the wrench requires an SCFM of 3.9 @ 90 PSI. But my compressor can only provide 3.5 scfm @ 90PSI. Is it way too low?

    • A: the psi is what drives the impact itself. so it would work just fine. you will just have to stop on occasion to let your compressor fill back up because its scfm isnt high enough to keep the tank full and the impact runnin at the same time. hope this helps
