Bar works great but the paint peels off easily

I got this tool on clearance and I can see why, when I got it home and removed the price sticker the paint peeled off with it. I started picking at some other spots that looked bubbled and again the paint peeled off in strips. I'm guessing they had an issue with paint adhesion and that's why they were in the clearance bin as I'm sure a few have been returned for this problem. As for the tool itself it works great, I pulled some old 3" nails from my deck with little effort, if your not worried about the look of the tool (peeled paint) then this would be a good purchase, who knows maybe they have the paint peeling issue resolved now.
