Simple and Effective

I was given this rower from a friend. It sat in my garage for months before I finally tried it. At first it was so hard I thought something was wrong, so I gave up for a while. I decided I would try just 20 pulls, succeeding, but difficult. Eventually I worked up to three 5 minute sessions, in between weight lifting. I felt accomplished and began using it for my main source of cardio. This rower ended up being a valuable tool in my workout routine!

Stamina, quality with economy

I have purchased four rowers of the last 20 years. Not always for myself but as gifts. Even though I wasn't the user I still followed the use. For the most part the owners were happy with them. Then I bought one for myself about 10 years ago. Though it was pretty good . Then I had need for one that would take up less space. Thus the Stamina inMotion rower. Not was it only the most economical it provided a workout far superior to any prior experience. The quality of construction is far superior to any of the others I have had contact with.

Decent rower for the price

I bought this for Christmas '20. I started to use it in January '21. It works well but the wheels under the chair eventually score the paint, leading to a squeak when you row. And the timer / stroke monitor died after a year (would either reset itself or just shut off, even after battery change). I have to use my phone to keep track of time. It works ok but the monitor was better. And I can't figure out how to get a new one.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Great Rower!

this rower was easy to put together & is quite sturdy. Does what it's supposed to do, at least for me. I don't have a lot of space either and I love how you can easily stand it up and put in the closet

Yes, I recommend this product.

Not very durable

Assembly was relatively easy and I love how compact the rower is. However, the handle covers are splitting and more importantly the cylinder that creates the tension is giving out. I have tried to find replacement parts and keep getting "out of stock" messages. The unit is less than a year old but has received a fair amount of use. I am disappointed in the durability.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Questions

Q: Why is it that all home exercise equipment has a max weight capacity that means ppl who need it can’t use it?

1 Answer
  • A: Home exercise equipment doesn’t use commercial grade materials. This is done in order to provide the best value for customers. This is why the weight limit may be lower than the equipment that would be found at a local gym.
