I don't go camping without this mug. You can use it for everything from brushing your teeth to boiling water for sanitation, or boiling cup-a-soup for a snack. I have never had the handle heat up while boiling water with it. Very durable. I have beat up this mug pretty bad and it still looks like I bough it yesterday. (minus a few very light scratches) *While in bear country hiking or portaging, clip this to the outside of your pack with a metal or aluminium clip and the mug works well as a noise device to warn bears of your presence.
