Definitely not Squirrel proof

This feeder is definitely not squirrel proof but it does slow them down. I get a lot of Finches and Chickadees at the feeder but do not get Cardinals or Blue Jays.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Squirrel Resistant Feeder

The squirrels climb onto the outside of cage and hang upside-down and eat the feed from the bottom tray but they can't get very much. The birds get most of the feed which is what we wanted.
