Here is the response after she says the camera I have is a 3G when it says 4G on the front... pretty sure 4G is LTE and I don't think it's being taken down, unless she's implying that they've just stopped supporting them with spypoint as a company and not referring to the cell towers... I asked REPEATEDLY to cancel my subscription and she keeps telling me that I can get $40 off a new camera LOL. I HAD TO HANG UP AND NOW I HAVE TO CALL MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY. RIGHT AFTER I HUNG UP SHE SENDS ME THIS EMAIL WHICH CONFIRMS THIS HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH THIS AWFUL COMPANIES CUSTOMER SERVICE. Thank you for reaching Spypoint, and letting us know about your experience with us. Our call got disconnected earlier. We truly value you as a customer and apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you. We appreciate your time and we know that you are very frustrated. Will not connect to Cell Networks. Customer service most own stock in a battery company. All they can help with is installing new batteries and try again. Went past the return date of purchase while troubleshooting and moving. Now own an expensive waterproof (maybe) camera that I need to go and pull the card to view the photos. Piece of junk.

The only component that is designed to be removed from the camera is the SD card, typically for retrieving data or during troubleshooting steps, such as formatting or updating. Q: Will this cellular trail camera work in an area with no cell service? Does it work like most drones and create its own wifi to retrieve pictures?

A: Hi Chris, the Spypoint Cellular camera comes with a pre-activated SIM card. We recommend to check the coverage maps to check if that there is strong enough signal from any provider to allow your camera to connect to that network and transit pictures to the mobile app. -PL
