Been good up until now.

I bought this slide three years ago and we had no issues what so ever until this year. I have three kids under 6 that use this all most every day dry and wet. I made sure it was dry before putting it away for the winter and had no worries. Just this past week we noticed a rip in one of the corners by the exit which I repaired with contact cement and the patches they give with it. Then just yesterday the first step ripped wide open. I have sent out some feelers to canvas companies but I think this is to sevre to be repaired. it still works but with only one kid at a time now. Otherwise I'll be buying another one...

Yes, I recommend this product.

Very, VERY happy with product

Well, I've waited long enough to speak up. People who complained about this product do not think outside the box and the person who said 2 kids collapsed it was just wrong. Look at the pix I included. 5 kids in it, 3 up top at a time and no collapse! You can tell by their expressions what they think of it. We bought this slide and paid full price for it 5 SEASONS AGO! We absolutely love it. I went so far as to hook up a warm water tap to it so I could keep it comfy and control the volume of water, which makes the whole thing even better. The seam in the bottom area where the water gathers (like, where your feet hit at the end of the ride didn't actually tear but the stitches did start to open up a bit after a couple of years. It's probably because I shoved my own 220 lbs. down it a few times. I took it to a local canvas repair company and they fixed it for a few bucks. If I have one concern about this product, it's that water does slowly leak in through the seams and collects inside the actual inflation cavity over a few hours (or days) of use. It's tough to drain that water out, sometimes taking several days. So, when I had it repaired, I had a big, covered zipper sewn into the bottom of the slide. Now, when we're done, I unzip it, drain the water out and, TA-DA! Knowing that it can be repaired, I am sure it will last beyond my use for it and I will likely give it to someone for several more years of use.

Yes, I recommend this product.

We bought the double sided one thats not listed anymore on here last yr for my daughters birthday party( shes 6) and when 2 kids are on it the top doesn't stay up it starts to deflate. The kids are 5 and 6 yr olds. This yr we got it out again for her birthday and i noticed that it really wasn't staying blown up then noticed a holeafter using it for 1 1/2.. I am really mad the bigger one was more money and lasted 2 times using it( we took it down and fully dryed it before putting away and everything thinking this was gonna last..)

No, I do not recommend this product.

Only got one season out of this expensive low quality product. All of my children are under 70lbs, and while they were using it for only the first time this season the seem ripped open. (8") We took proper care of it. Never put it away wet. Canadian Tire said NO warranty. Out of luck.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Questions

1 - 8 of 8 Questions

Q: Does the water circulate? Do you need the hose going the entire time? I was worried about having a swamp left in my grass each time I use it.

  • A: The water does not circulate. It gathers, then spills out over the bottom. I hooked up a warm water mix with a secondary tap so I control the temp and flow volume. It's never been a problem.

Q: weight capacity?

  • A: The manual says 100 lbs. but I know that we've exceeded that. I weigh 220 lbs. I shouldn't have gone down it but I did... several times. I likely caused the opening of the seams at around the 2 year mark but I got it repaired and it's just fine now. We've had 5 kids at a time in it, sometimes 3 sliding down together. By the time kids are too heavy for this, they're probably 'too cool' to enjoy it anyway. Well, except for me and my 220 lbs. that is.

Q: How high is the actual slide?

1 Answer
  • A: Taller than I can reach and I'm 6 ft. tall. I'll estimate 9 feet total. The beginning of the slide is just over 6 ft. off the ground. The bigger issue might be length. It 18 feet long and needs a fair sized space to work well.

Q: How to repair a hole? I have a tear where the buckle is on the side, where the water weights are attached. Just want to know the best way to repair it. Thanks

  • A: The seams in the bottom water collection area started to open up a bit on mine after 2 years. I found a local canvas repair place (who told me that they do a few of these a year) and they re-stitched and reinforced it. Call around.
