Q: Will this work under kitchen sink connection to icemaker or an extra adapter is needed? Other kits say 3/8 or 1/2 for inlet/outlet

A: This adapter will hook up to the main water pipe, in my case the copper pipe running in my basement rafters, then I’m hooking up my fridge 1/4” pipe to the smaller end that allows the 1/4” feed. As far as it says it’s all compression fittings.

Q: what is the size of the fitting : is it 5/8" x 5/8" and output 1/4 "?

Q: what size and type of water line comes out of valve on discharge side (ie. copper or plastic and diameter)?

A: For 1/4 OD pipe (for humidifiers) – Compression end for copper pipe.
