Simple to set up

I purchased two of these solar heaters to raise the water temperature in my 15' x 30' above ground pool. Performance is highly disappointing! Installation is as per manufacturer's recommendations with a bypass systems when 2 units are employed. All piping and connections are 1 1/2" diameter throughout. Water flow can be diverted to direct return to pool when sun is not shining.Only set up in mid August so perhaps season too short for maximum benefit. Would welcome suggestions to improve efficiency.

LEAKS LEAKS

Don't waste your money. It leaks from every hose connection no matter what you do. After following the instructions (leaks), then a trip for more hose clamps (no enough are provided in box)(leaks), and finally a trip for washers (I wanted to see if i could get this to work)(leaks); I finally admitted defeat and returned it.

Save Your Money!

We bought these panels hoping to heat our pool. They leak constantly no matter what clamps we use. The panels haven't been operational even once. We'd give them a "0" rating but that isn't an option. Save your money and buy a different product.

Worth the money

Had the pool for 2 seasons, last year (without the heater) half hour tops for swimming bc water never reached higher than 70. Installer this heater 3 weeks ago, pool is darn near 80! Well worth the money - excellent investment
Only downside - make sure you have a variety of clamps when installing can be a little tricky

Ne fonctionne pas et j en n est 2. L eau circule trop vite dans le système, il faut diminuer le débit de circulation mais la pompe force et l eau ne circule plus assez vite dans la piscine.

Q: I have 20x40 in-ground pool and am wondering if this would still work. I understand that I'd need the bypass kit, and that it would obviously take longer to notice a rise in temperature, but is there any reason why this wouldn't work?

A: It would work, but the customer should use more than 1 solar heater for a pool that size. We recommend one heater would best support a pool with 45,000 litres. A 20X40 would have more than that, it depends on the depth. A bypass kit would be required if using more than 1 solar heater, and it would take longer to heat based on the actual litres in the pool
