I found these diapers to be very flimsy. I had been using human baby diapers that I cut a hole in for my dog's tail. These diapers leaked and didn't fit well. I bought them as recommended on the package for my breed of dog. The human diapers where much better even though I bought a store brand. They where also considerably cheaper.

A: I had to make the doggy diapers pretty tight on the straps, but sometimes my old pooch would still manage to get out of it! I found using something like painters tape all the way around to be effective.
