Q: CAN THIS BE USED TO CONTROL WEEDS IN A LAWN? WILL IT KILL THE GRASS? IS IT SIMPLY A WEED SPOT KILLER?

A: When using WeedOut in the "NEW" SmartOnes Precision Sprayer it should not affect the lawn when used as directed on the label. It works by robbing the plant of moisture. Chloride ions are absorb by the plant, and when high enough percentageeis present in the plant, it will cause a drought like environment, essentially causing the weed to wither and die. Even in periods of adequate moisture it will still desiccate the plant by blocking root absorption. Studies have shown that it does work much better in very warm periods when plants would be absorbing the maximum amount of moisture to remain healthy.
