Great for the daily commuter or someone that needs to avoid flats

I have used self sealing tube (Kwick Seals from Kenda) but ran into an issue that they did not have the size I needed so I picked up a tube and slime. Worked great. Pulled the tube off 6 months later after wearing out the tire to find that the slime had filled 8 holes that would have been a flat tire otherwise. As a daily commuter and someone that takes my kid around on a bike, the 1/2 hour to hour walk for a bike with a flat tire is not really an option. Also, ever tried to change a tube on the side of a road with a 2 year old around.... takes forever as you need to keep them from running off.

As a professional bike mechanic, the only thing this product does is weigh your bike down and clog your air valve. Get a patch kit or spare inner tube.

Q: Slime Bike Tube Sealant cannister works on Presta? Can't see if 73-7306-8 is Schrader valve-compliant only, or universal, or what. Do you stock a version with a nozzle that fits a Presta valve?

A: Please note that the Slime Bike Tube Sealant is for Schrader valve only. It will not work on Presta valve. We do not currently stock an item that will work with all presta valves*. *note, some presta valves have removable cores. In those cases, the sealant may be able to be applied, however Slime does not endorse this directly.
