Pleasantly surprised

I've been using this mat with a SKLZ golf net and am pleasantly surprised. I previously purchased a flimsy mat and was wary, but those problems are not an issue. My prior mat moved with every shot and had to be continually straightened, but this one stays in position, moving minimally only if you hit a very poor fat shot. I actually like that aspect, as it provides instant feedback and encourages clean hits. The tees are very stable and I hit ball after ball with my 3 and 5 woods, as well as my driver. The other positive factor is the price. This is my first mat and net and I wasn't sure I would like it, so I didn't want to invest three hundred dollars or more on a commercial quality range mat. The two grass lengths provide different feels and I use all my clubs, including wedges. Well struck balls feel great off the club face and impart that sweet feel we all strive to achieve. It's been a lot of fun, but the best part is the low cost and high repetition you can achieve in your own backyard.
