Used it only once, but love everything about it. Sanding drywall mud left no noticeable dust in the air/on surfaces. Quieter than my old unit as well.

Q: What type of replacement bag is required fore this shop vac?

A: This unit comes with a standard paper type dust bag which I didn't even put on as my application it more for garage use mostly to keep our vehicles vacuumed. I find the paper bag is good if you are vacuuming fine dust particles - otherwise its more of a hinderance to use the vacuum. Empty the container often and take a paint brush and clean the filter each time is way more effective.

Q: Does it have Tool Storage? The description says it has tool storage but the picture shows a bag.

A: The 54-0267 Shop-Vac 30.3L portable wet/dry does not have on-board tool storage however the vacuum includes a tool bag to conveniently store the vacuum's accessories when they are not in use. Accessories packed in with this unit include, 8’x1¼” Lock-On® hose, (3) extension wands, Utility nozzle, Crevice tool, Round Brush,Tool Storage Bag,Cartridge filter and High efficiency collector filter bag.

Q: 5875448 model shop vac, I can't the the lid to seat into the base, so only can lock down one side which recreates a leak in the "seal" so less suction. I have asked friends and family to see if they can figure out what I am doing wrong.

A: As long as you use the proper filtration yes you can use for drywall dust. Use high efficiency filter bag and cartridge filter.

A: It is a 9030400 cartridge filter, however it is the large cartridge so the 9034000 for fine particle pickup would also work.
