Handle is nice and long for a taller person. Cord is a great length.
The suction is Good for most stuff, cat litter and outside sand/salt you have to go over twice. Carpet picks up well.
Motor does heat up quickly. You can feel the heat from the motor within 2 minutes. It is warm air blowing on your hand.
The head has to be pushed down to the floor often. It is easy just place your foot on the head but if happens often when running. (edge of a carpet and it pops up ; ora gravel/rough stuff to be sucked up; or handle is not at right angle)
No, I do not recommend this product.

Cleans well but not the best choice

Replaced our old cordless Dyson with this corded model. Didn’t want the hassle of running out of power in the middle of vacuuming the house.
Positives. - Having the cord again isn’t a big deal and like having full power for as long as I need it. This vacuum cleans the floors and carpets really well! We have cork flooring and carpet and it cleans both great. Gets all the dirt and dog hair up.
Negatives. - it doesn’t stand up on its own so have to rest it up against a wall when not using it or emptying the smallest debris canister in the world! Canister needs to be twice as big. We have to empty it 4 times at least while vacuuming the house. And it’s a small house. And it is loud! I know it’s a vacuum and they aren’t the quietest but this sucker is loud. Feel like I should be wearing hearing protection while using it. No joke.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Shark stick vacuum with cord

This is our 2nd Shark vacuum but the first was a full size upright which we've used through kids and pets for a number of years. I narrowed down between this corded stick and a cordless stick from another brand. I just didn't want to deal with running out of power which is the main reason I went with this Shark model. It does have great suction power. The cord is a bit shorter than I'd like but not really a big deal. Also the dust canister is small but I knew that going in. I bought it on sale at a decent price which is good as I'm thinking of adding a couple of accessories.
