Great pet vacuum if you don't have any pets.

I don't know why the word "pet" is in the name of this product. It really can't handle much pet detritus. I guess if you have a small cat or a small poodle, it would be ok, but it really can't handle anything more than hair. We have a rabbit, three cats, and a large dog. The vacuum handles the dog fine and can mostly handle the cats, but only their hair. They have scratching devices, some of which include corrugated cardboard. The vac picks the cardboard up off the floor well enough, if everything is running well, but it typically can't make it around the corner into the upright part of the machine. Similarly, the rabbit, who lives in a hutch, casts off hair, which is fine, but it also occasionally contributes stray bits of hay, the odd poop (pea-sized hard balls that are dry and have no scent), and small scraps of paper or cardboard from whatever box he's currently using for a hidey-hole. The vac can't handle any of that very well. Again, with the cardboard and the poops, it can pick them up off the floor, but then they get stuck in the hose where the floor part meets the main part of the machine. After a little bit, that hose clogs up like nobody's business. This might be ok, except that UNCLOGGING that part of the vacuum is a MAJOR PAIN requiring taking off the brush-cleaning access panel, pulling the vacuum hose out of the base, and then repeatedly CAREFULLY ramming just-the-right-size wooden spoon or whatever into the clog until it can be dislodged enough to be extracted by sticking the hose into the wrong end of the floor brush. In other words, IT'S NOT DESIGNED TO BE UNCLOGGED! As far as I know, the little green light is completely useless, because I can be using the vacuum with essentially zero suction at the floor brush and still have the green light on. On the plus side, it is easy to empty and it does do a good job of filtering the air before returning it to the room. That's why it's not a 1-star review.

Best vacuum I have owned. Easy to manoeuvre and surprisingly quiet! The head shape makes it easy to get into smaller areas and under cupboards. Also love the quality of all the parts, including the many attachable ends for the hand held part!

My favourite vacuum

I love this vacuum. It is so easy to use, not heavy to carry while doing stairs, and picks up everything. My favourite feature is how it doesn’t clog with hair! something we have struggled with past vacuums. 10/10 purchase.
