Good, but...

I patch-seeded some spots on my lawn. 2 patches worked but the third one (the most obvious one I wanted to fix) didn't grow well. It had the SAME amount of sun and received the same watering. The grass strands started growing before the 2 other patches but then stopped and died. Very uneven results.
I trust this brand and technology but it bothers me that I have to spend another 20$+ for a small package just to fix this one patch that didn't work well...
Yes, I recommend this product.

These percentages are by weight not by seed count The types and breakdowns of seeds can change throughout the year due to availability While specific varieties may change the percentage of each grass seed type will not change.

Does not come back after winter

I bought and planted this seed in late spring 2019 and had a beautiful lawn for the remainder of the year but jump ahead to May 2020 and the grass is now completely dead! Very disappointed that Canadian Tire is selling grass seed that cannot survive a Canadian wiinter.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Great seeds!

My kids are playing a lot in the backyard and I had trouble keeping the grass alive. So I got 2 bags of these seeds and seeded as per the instruction. It grew and its actually surviving my kids and their friends games. I did get good results, and its still lasting.

It has been a week and a lot of rain, still no grass is growing. Quite expensive for no grass growing.
