Q: No battery how does this thing work? Do you have to pump it all the time? I'm looking for something to seal my driveway with.

A: There is a lever on the side that you manually pump. I use it to spray my weeds on the driveway and walkways. Works fine for that. If you have a large driveway that needs a lot of product coverage, you may want to splurg for the battery model but they are quite a bit more.

Followed instructions carefully. However, the unit I purchased could not maintain pressure for longer than about 30 seconds. Returned it to the store, clearly a defective unit.
