This lock worked for about 2 months and it started to reset itself and then go offline. then it completely died even with new batteries. Its been terrible. Installed professionally and reset and reinstalled and removed from and reconnected to wifi. Screen does not respond. Avoid this one. you'll end up using your keys like an old lock.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Terrible experience

I ordered a product online and picked it up from the store’s locker, only to find it was an open-box item with scratches and missing bolts. I had to waste more time and money driving back the same day to return it. There was no replacement available, and Canadian Tire offered zero compensation for my time or gas. The Schlage product itself might be fine, but Canadian Tire’s service was absolutely unacceptable. Terrible customer experience.

A: There is an auto-lock feature that is set to lock approximately thirty seconds. Once you have the lock installed and connected to a smart phone, you can then customize how long you want the auto-lock feature to wait before it locks behind you.
