Fairly easy to install. However, it feels flimsy even fully assembled. Most likely will fall apart if ever try to pick it up and move it somewhere else. Plus has a strong odour. I bought two, but returned the 2nd one after installing the 1st one.

Good size, not good quality

I bought this when it was on sale and am using it as a temporary solution for a closet in a basement. it took me a few hours to build solo, directions are easy to read and follow. The size and look of the cabinet is nice, but the quality is pretty bad. Not sure how long it will last, it's very VERY flimsy. It is definitely not worth the price and I don't think it was even worth the sale price to be honest, but I was in a pinch and needed something fast so here we are. Using it for clothes right now, not sure it could handle anything heavier than that. I had to attach it to the wall with the plastic anchor it came with but I still don't trust it and the cabinet is still really wobbly.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Cheap quality and very flimsy

I bought the 2- door at Cdn Tire and also three of the 3-door cabinets. Note that the 2- door is a different oak colour, has the same height and not as deep. The 3-door is a MUCH higher quality and uses dowels to strengthen the connections. The 2-door is flimsy and cheap, cheap, cheap and uses pressboard construction. The 3-door uses solid wood for the sides and top.

Q: Does this cabinet have to be secured to a wall. I am not allowed to put holes in the wall.

  • A: A wall support is included in the box however ypu dont necessarily need to anchor it to the wall if you distribute and balance the weight evenly throughout the cabinet. Do not put large bulky items on the top shelf making it top heavy and prone it tipping   Otherwise you should ne fine   I have three of these in my basement and put heavy stuff on bottom and have tried to balance weight throughout and have never had them even close to tipping over. Nice looking cabinets great for storage

Q: Hi in the photos it appears to be oak colour but with a greyish tint  but in some customer photos with the reviews it looks more reddish. I definitely don’t want red oak look.

  • A: I would say yes,  with a light sanding and a good primer.  Bought this cabinet over a year ago it has held up well but it is made of chip/particle board with a paper finish.
