It looks nice, but it’s very flimsy. The wood is very thin. The materials are very cheap.

Poor quality

I purchased two a month ago, didn’t put the second one together and will be returning. Poor quality and while putting together is easy (similar to ikea but poorer) the quality is sub par. Cabinet sways easily and it’s very easy to accidentally mark up or make a mistake by screwing the incorrect screw into the wrong hole. Also the screw for the handle snapped off inside the handle and so we only have one working handle Also beware the screws can be seen on the sides outside the cabinet and stick out a bit.. there are stickers to cover but doesn’t look great in my opinion. I expected better at this price point. I have not reached out for replacement or return yet.

I bought one for master bedroom and then wife asked for a second one- both took about 2 hours to assemble. Quality is less than what I’ve experienced with other cabinets but they’ve been priced nearly 50 percent to double this one, so kind of is the way it is.

Q: Does this cabinet have to be secured to a wall. I am not allowed to put holes in the wall.

  • A: A wall support is included in the box however ypu dont necessarily need to anchor it to the wall if you distribute and balance the weight evenly throughout the cabinet. Do not put large bulky items on the top shelf making it top heavy and prone it tipping   Otherwise you should ne fine   I have three of these in my basement and put heavy stuff on bottom and have tried to balance weight throughout and have never had them even close to tipping over. Nice looking cabinets great for storage

Q: Can you put a hanging rod for clothing in this unit? I'm not sure if it would be sturdy enough to install one and not use the shelving..

Q: Hi in the photos it appears to be oak colour but with a greyish tint  but in some customer photos with the reviews it looks more reddish. I definitely don’t want red oak look.

  • A: I would say yes,  with a light sanding and a good primer.  Bought this cabinet over a year ago it has held up well but it is made of chip/particle board with a paper finish.
