I was looking for an inexpensive cabinet for furnace room storage. It does the trick!!! The sides and door are quite flimsy, but good enough for what I need. The instructions were easy to follow (I enjoyed the little funny bits they added to the instruction book….cute!) Everything lined up well.

For the price, this is an excellent cabinet. I bought 3 of these to replace an old wall unit. Yes, the materials are not what I'd call sturdy (25lb per shelf limit, with the top and bottom shelves able to carry 50lb) but it's all about the price point. If you want a heavy duty cabinet with more load capacity, they're out there. They're also considerably more expensive. I am very pleased with this cabinet. It does what I need and I didn't break the bank. Assembly was simple and the instructions are clear and all the parts fit properly. Overall, great cabinet. Looks good and reasonably priced.

Q: Does this cabinet have to be secured to a wall. I am not allowed to put holes in the wall.

A: A wall support is included in the box however ypu dont necessarily need to anchor it to the wall if you distribute and balance the weight evenly throughout the cabinet. Do not put large bulky items on the top shelf making it top heavy and prone it tipping Otherwise you should ne fine I have three of these in my basement and put heavy stuff on bottom and have tried to balance weight throughout and have never had them even close to tipping over. Nice looking cabinets great for storage

Q: Hi in the photos it appears to be oak colour but with a greyish tint but in some customer photos with the reviews it looks more reddish. I definitely don’t want red oak look.

A: I would say yes, with a light sanding and a good primer. Bought this cabinet over a year ago it has held up well but it is made of chip/particle board with a paper finish.
