Don’t fall for the spoiler gimmick

I purchased this EX carrier because the previous one I owned (bones 2) , put strain on my rear spoiler and was no longer recommended. This is one is no different. The upper straps are clearly putting weight on the rear spoiler. Not very happy with this purchase.

Q: When there are no bikes on the rack, can you open the trunk while keeping the rack in place or does it come undone if you open the trunk?

A: Hello, Thank you for reaching out. It is not safe to open the trunk while the rack is installed. You must take the rack off in order to use the trunk.
