This is not what you think it is

This part is NOT a starter solenoid. It IS a solenoid, by definition, in that it is a coil. If you have a starter that sounds like the drive is being engaged in the ring gear, but it won't crank the engine, this part won't fix it. It appears to be the coil from inside the "starter solenoid "
